Other Common Heat Pump Noises

• Fan Motor Noise. Air moves heat into and out of your home with your heat pump. A fan at the top of your heat pump creates airflow. It’s noisy when it runs, but not too bad. Your heat pump fan should be consistent, smooth, and quiet. A click may be heard before your heat pump fan starts.
